Hello IWC Forum members. I inherited this watch recently and was wondering if
the forum could help identify it for me. The case/back no. is 1104455; the
mechanism no. is 1069103. The watch is 30mm in diameter and works.

This is a calibre 83 from 1943, a famous IWC calibre of which 66.000 were
made.
Famous cal. 83 watches are the 'special watch for pilots ( not this one) and
the military W.W.W. ( mark 10) (not this one).

Thank you for your prompt and informative reply. The watch seems to me to be
quite small.
Is this a ladies watch, or were watch form factors smaller in the 40's?
This is the normal size for men during the 1940-ies.
Ladies watches were extremely small then.

Adrian
