Peter Chong of the blog Deployant met with Georges Kern recently. Part I of his report is at this link.

Peter hadn't met Georges before, so before the interview he contacted me for background info and ideas. I won't say that Georges was "set up", but I think you'll find the report as insightful and interesting.

Interesting. What I like most is the notion of understated elegance, and the sweet marriage of thoroughness and dolce vita: the latter I recognize in a town like Lugano. IWC watches look good and are made well.

    Kind regards,
    Paul

I certainly am looking forward to the developments shown in a few months. Is 2016 the year of the Pilot's watches? If all watch families are treated in turn, except the mysterious Da Vinci family, then I must say that time flies.

    Kind regards,
    Paul
