Already for some time I noticed that my AT VC 3231 apparently loses time...and I thought about sending it to SH for service..
Usually I set and compare the time to the clock on Your text to link here......and doing so I assumed up to -5sec/day....
today I went to an AD and he used a regular watch tester and the lady smiled and told me that the watch runs at +1-2sec/day, which is just perfect...
your experience please- who to be trusted here??
    thanks,

Although your AD's regular watch tester said that the watch runs at +1-2sec/day, this is a static test and doesn't take into account the various forces that your watch experiences throughout the day while you wear it.
The 3231 was launched about 5 years ago, so your watch could well be due a service.
Before you send it to SH, keep a daily record of the timekeeping, during normal wear, for a week or two. Include this with your watch along with a note explaining the difference between the observed timekeeping and that of the tester(as you have done here).
The watchmaker can use this information to regulate your watch, during the servicing procedure, to suit your individual watch-wearing lifestyle.

Leo, that's very useful to know and prepare in advance of any spa treatment.

    Thanks!

Once again Leo, thanks so much for this advice...I was really not aware that this information of daily fluctuations might be important to regulate the watch....and I do tend to agree with you that the tester results at the AD....by the way, I took it since than to a 2nd AD, who told me +1/day at one position, -1/day at another position, with an advice - not yet to service it..
    cheers,
