I'm being offered an IWC Pilot watch, but I am almost certain is a fake. Price is $1,000 and the current owner does not have the original box/papers. Everything looks suspicious, but if it is a genuine IWC, the price is a bargain.
What got me thinking is the watch has a couple pressure-release valves on the side of the crown, and the day reserve marker goes from 3 to 9, instead of 7-1, like other IWC watches I've seen. Your point of view would be greatly appreciated.
