Dear IWC members,
First and foremost I would like to apologize for my lack of knowledge and terminology in advance.
I purchased my first and only watch the 19th of June 2015. A factory new Pilot Mark XVII. I've been saving for a while but every penny spent was worth it.
When I received the watch (here come the lack of terminology) the "rotor" - in other words the thing that goes around charging the clock when I move - doesn't "swoosh" or make that circling sound for much more than a brief moment. I've also, after a couple months of use, recon that it doesn't "charge" much, since it can't carry through the night - 12 hours. Even thought I've used it for several days.
Since I'm not a wealthy man, and very careful, I went to a clock store in STHLM Sweden where they did an "amplitude" test, that indicated that my watch goes 7 seconds wrong / day.
I did not buy my watch here, so unfortunately no chance to go back to my store.
Since I have my warranty I'm now turning to you for help. Does this sound normal? Am I over reacting? Should I send it to IWC for warranty reasons? Any test I can't do myself?
Any help would be appreciated.
KR,
H
