Hello, I have a wonderful BP 5004 (from 2007) since few days but I'm not sure if the power reserve indicator works correctly.
I wear it every day but the power reserve never go to 7 days; the higher is on 6 days.
I have to wind it if i want to go on the 7 days.
Is this a normal issue with the 5111 caliber ?

It's not typical, but also not really a problem. The spring is quite long and it takes a great deal of force to wind at the end. The winding system (rotor and pawls) really is meant to keep the watch wound, rather than to wind it to a higher setting. As such, I suggest you wind the watch manually to the highest setting, and also you provably will get most accuracy that way. During your watch's next overhaul, a little lubrication should help.
Congratulations on your acquisition, the 5004 was my first IWC myself and I am wearing it as I write this! As Michael said, wind it fully and then wear it for a while. If you let it rest overnight and the reserve drops to the low part of the 7th day range, it should be able to regain the full 7th day during a day of regular wear. It may also be time for a service; since this is a new purchase for you, you may enjoy the additional piece of mind knowing it is back in top condition. Also, a full service will have it back to you polished and looking almost new!

I will wait few days more and also see if the automatic systeme works.
The seller told me that the watch was overhaul and in a perfect condition so i was thinking it should be working perfectly.
If it's not really normal i will ask him to take it for a new control.
