Hi guys, just registered to the forum to ask a technical question really.
So... I recently bought my third IWC watch, a ceratanium double chrono, which
happens to be my favourite piece in my 7-watch collection too.

long story short, The double chrono pusher fell off only 2 months after
getting it. I wanted to ask if this issue is a common one with this model...
because I can barely find any info online. Thanks!

Sorry to hear you issues with the Doppelchrono. I have the same watch since
may and no problems at all.

with the extended warranty it should be an easy fix for IWC, but of course
    it's frustrating.

Thank you Patrick, I actually thoroughly enjoy(ed) the watch and cannot
possibly wait to get it back. They say it should take 21 working days, which
    to me, sounds like agony.

I have also heard that they may discontinue this particular model soon? Which
made me particularly happy to pick it up before it was gone.

In answer to the question, I would say that this is not a common issue. In
fact, I cannot remeber the last time I heard of a pusher coming off any IWC
watch (although I am sure it must have happened before).

    Thanks Ben,

to me I always was happy with the quality of other IWC watches I have. They
have only made me want to get more and more IWC pieces. But this particular
quality issue made me worried, especially that this watch is not manufactured
in great numbers, and that the case material is very unique.

I'm having IWC chronographs (Fliegers and Aquatimers) since 1996 and no such
issues have happened yet. I had 3 chono pusher problems, neither with IWC
    watches. Hope this helps.

I hope you got your IW371815 back quickly after sending it back for repairs! I just had the same issue happen to mine where the split-second pusher at 10’oclock stopped working while I was using the chronograph function.

This happened almost exactly a year into my purchase so the warranty should take care of the watch. Wanted to note here for others in case there are more users with this issue on the double chrono Ceratanium model … will report back once the watch is repaired.
