Did you realize, that the calendar of the Portuguese Perpetual will still be functional in the era that this series plays? In the 21st episode of the second season, an inquisitor is sent to B5 to question Captain Sheridan and Delenn. The inquisitor comes from Earth and lived in London in 1888. That was 20 years after IWC was founded.
I wonder what the far future will bring and whether my ancestors will still be enjoying the Portuguese Perpetual Calendar!

I guess whenever (wo)man is comfortable, a Portuguese Perpetual Calendar will be too. As, at least to me, the Portuguese watches have eternal beauty, to be enjoyed that way by many to come, why not have people in the year 2259 owning and cherishing such a beauty? The only unknown would be the strap: will Santoni be around then?
