I was told that the box of the AMG Ingenieur has the new car smell, when it is open. I wonder if IWC is considering to add the smell of the cockpit of a military aircraft to the box of the CF Pilot. Just a thought. ;-)

Curious about any update on the CF3 "project".

Number of orders is of course of general interest, but more important to me is a re-confirmation of the delivery time line.

Hi Anders,

The good news is that production is right on schedule. The watches should be available probably in late August or in early September at latest.

The formal order forms and contacting people has been, unfortunately, delayed but that won't affect those who have signed up or their deliveries. I've been waiting on that for several weeks, and hopefully that will be soon.

Michael, can I ask how those of us who don't have a boutique in their country are going to be able to pick up the watch? Or is this still being sorted out.

Jarrod --I'm not 100% sure. I suspect you may get to use a boutique in a nearby country (none too close to NZ) which will send the watch to you, charged in your local currency and without further charges. The other alternative would be through the IWC office in your country directly, but I don't think they can do retail sales.
