Thanks SUNDAYFLIER! You know, it took me a long time to get used to my 3717. I was so in love with the 3706 at the time, that my mind would not let me accept the propellor hands over the classic squared off hour hand of that model. I am overjoyed with it now and I enjoy every detail of my 3717.
I nearly got a Portofino Chrono instead and I am so glad I went with the 3717. There were many sleepless nights involved!
Many sleepless nights? Over watches ? Don't understand that...LOL
Actually the propellor hands is what attracted me instantly to the 3717. My many sleepless nights ( on this one ) came as a result of trying to find a NIB b/4 they were gone due to retirement. Like Sundayflyer, I too am lucky to have one. It is without doubt one if the most versatile IWC Pilots.
Thanks Andy, A great club to belong to :-) I hope to add a BP one day when I have filled a few Constellation holes. Need that perfect gold piepan. OOPS - Shouldn't say that on IWC forum
