wow, fantastic watch and pictures Norbert!
Groeten,
Bob
Another nice one I would love to one day add to the collection. Roughly what year is this from?
This one is from 2003. The GST Perpetuals were made between 2002 and 2004 if I'm not mistaken...
this was the first iwc i ever saw in the flesh and it has captivated me ever since.
Gee - sooo - tasty. Apparently, that is what GST stands for. Super photo and watch.
Hello Norbert, how is your GST PC Ti doing?... I just got back mine after two years... Long story, i really missed it!... I really love this watch, it is the perfect combination, amazing engineering, an outstanding and historic landmark by Kurt Klaus... A unique and rare watch.
Greetings.
Hector. Great to hear you got it back and things are going well. That Ti GST Perpetual is just so amazing. I have the "Saumon" dial version in Steel - and at the time, was trying to introduce a little color into my collection - but now I long for that Ti case and bracelet and the contrast of the dial, the yellows, the white, the signed "IWC" and the moon phase is also different....
Good to hear you have yours back Hector. It is indeed an amazing allround watch suitable for every occasion. I do wear it a lot, not only because of the special looks, but also because the titanium bracelet fits very comfortable around the wrist. I would surely miss mine too if I had to part with it for a long time. Hope you can now enjoy yours for years to come...
Thanks for your kind words Ardoise, I have to check the Saumon because I don't grasp very well what you mean by "signed IWC".
All the GST's are amazing, beautiful!
Have a Good Night,
H.
Hey Norbert! Thanks for the warm welcoming!...
Indeed this watch will remain in the family forever.
Good Night,
H.
Good Night friends,
I have a situation... just noticed my PC is not synchronized... it says Monday, March 4, 2014... should be 3 as you all know, First thing tomorrow I'll go to Richemont Group Service to see if they can fix it... I hope it is not a major service or repair, last time I sent the watch to full service it lasted about a month or so.
Has anyone had this problem?
...The moon fase seems to be accurate at least.
Thanks,
H.
Hector. That's too bad. Perhaps, you should wear it for a few more days, since it took you a while to notice. Just to get more joy from it.
However, prepare yourself for it to go back for a few months and cost about $800+.
I have several IWC Perpetuals, and for a while, a couple of them spent too much time in the safe. When I took them out to set them, I was too hasty, too fast in advancing the dates with huge crown, which resulted in the similar situation you had - the day was one day off from where it should have been.
Both watches were sent in for service for several months - costing about $800+ each. But, now they're back and happy....
It's always a great pleasure to see these sporty perpetuals.
Thanks for the moral support Ardoise... I'll do that... enjoy it a little bit more... and yes, maybe I did it in a fast pace... I didn't do it between 8pm and 2am though (The red-alert booklet in the box says so!).
greetings.
