    Hello,

I would be grateful if someone could help me.

    I'm considering buying an IWC 3902-11 (89361) or IW 3902-06 (89360).

They look the same, but the movement is different.

On the Watchbase website, I only found this information:

The ref. IW390206 was introduced in 2010. It was replaced in 2011 by the IW390211 with an updated movement.

I can't find any more detailed information online, or am I missing something? :-)

Is the caliber 89361 better/higher quality than the previous one, or are the differences noticeable to me as a watch wearer?

Thank you very much for your help!

The essential difference is that the 89361 is an updated, simplified, and more service‑friendly evolution of the 89360, with a redesigned rotor shock‑absorber system and fewer jewels. It is not a functional overhaul—the chronograph architecture and performance remain fundamentally the same.
