I must admit that this timepiece is superb. Seeing it in the catalog, I did not like it too much. But last Saturday I had the pleasure to see the Miramar chrono for the first time live. And it is superb!! Probably my next buy.

Looks great! The strap looks really cool, very retro as others have said. How does it feel quality-wise? Does it feel like it will last well?

question, gentlepeople, why is there so little information on the website re: big pilot top gun miramar? 501902. why have they stopped making it? why are they being sold in such mass? i am confused. i've always admired it but i am unsure why it feels a bit like a red-headed step-child at the moment. 

can someone please explain, or point me to a place to find more in depth info. the reviews and commentary online is somewhat shallow.
