    Reference: IW5441-01 (steel / brown strap) and IW5441-02 (steel / black strap)
    Case material: steel
    Movement: 9828

    Strap: glossy brown alligator / steel pin buckle, depicted on non-original IWC replacement strap

    There was a poll, if I recall, at the end of the 1990s when the Da Vinci perpetual was chosen as the "watch of the century". While I didn't vote, with hindsight I think the Portuguese Jubilee should be. It represents everything about IWC, its historical roots, fine movement engineering and classic but distinctive design.

    A great watch.

    Ohhh, it is, but.... personally I'm glad the Da Vinci won.

    I could not agree more. The Ref 5441 Jubilee, in any metal, is the perfectest IWC, an a must in every IWC collection.

    Both are great watches, the Da Vinci and the Jubilee. I like both of them. So different they are, for me they stand both for perfect conjunction of beauty and technical development.
