I bought this gold watch at an auction. I tried to find information on the
net, but I couldn't find anything. These data were atached to the watch:
    Movement/Caliber: 62-10 lig.
Serial number of the movement: 1008717 ( dates IWC watch to 1939)
    Country Of Manufacture: Switzerland
    Case Material: 18K Yellow Gold

    Hi SZJ,

yes, this is an authentic IWC. Fine C62 movement in obvious good condition.
Same is true for the case. The dial shows a little patina and is co signed by
a Zurich based watch store which is still existing.

    Hi Cromagnonman,

thank you! You made me happy. I also found the watch shop, but I didn't know
what to do with the information.
