Anyone have any guidance they can give to me on determining the value of this model IWC model. I have papers with case no., etc.

    Many model and condition variables....

    Hi Prime,

We can't do appraisals here, but possibly could give you a range if we knew what the model was and could evaluate condition. I would think that yours should probably be in the range of 1000 to 3000 USD if condition is good --no major scratches, dentts, keeps time, dial is in OK condition, etc.

    Posting a photo would help.

    Regards,
    Michael

Thanks for the response. I have a picture but am unsure of how to ad it to the message.

    Hello again,

Do you recommend having a watch-winder for automatic watches?

Since I love to see the watch, here is a link.

Regarding your question about watch winders: you will find a lot of information and advice in the archives. Bottom line: many people prefer to enjoy winding the watches once in a while (there is no need to wind it every day). Others believe watch winders are "part of the fun". It makes more sense to use winders for watches with perpetual calendars.

I am looking forward to your picture.

    Peter
