Im looking for an IWC from 1965 does anyone know where I could find out which
pieces where available in 1965 to enable my search for a birth year piece?

for a watch dated 1965 you have to look for a movement number between 1778801
and 1796800. In 1965 17999 movements have been produced, the following table
shows which calibres you have to look for.
For the case numbers you have to look for 1700000 to 1800000 but this range
also includes 1966.I have the PDF version of the 1966 catalog wich shows all the references of
