I own many swiss watches, but the 3707 will be my first IWC when it arrives on Wednesday of this week. I couldn't find another brand or model that suited my eye like the titanium beauty IWC made years back. Unfortunately, this limited my choices to pre-owned pieces. It will not be delivered with a box, manual or any other paperwork.

I'm nervous that the watch will not have enough links, or that the band will not be up to par with my taste for imperfection.

IWC provided a manual Your text to link here...

I've read many posts and seen references to folks using SPA's. Where can I find more information on what services are offered, and who offers them?

Lastly, is there a specific model number for the tools used to adjust the band? I searched "IWC tools" and found some brass looking pin tools, but they seem to be model specific.

    Thanks all.

Welcome to the IWC Forum! 3707 is a great watch, and nobody does titanium like IWC.

IWC bracelets are superb. Assuming the one you receive is in good condition, it should make you happy.

"Spa" is one of our commonly used euphemisms for a place that provides service for watches. As in any spa with which you are familiar, the services result in physical improvements, whether cosmetic (case and bracelet polish, dial restoration, etc) or tuning up the innards by disassembly, cleaning and oiling, checking water resistance, setting accurate timing, etc). IWC works wonders in Schaffhausen, and watches sent there for service ("spa treatment") usually come back looking and running like new.

"Brass looking pin tools" for sizing IWC bracelets are indeed small brass pinlike tools. They are not model specific and a set of the tools will work on almost any IWC bracelet intended to use these tools.

Please post pictures of your 3707 when it arrives!

Congrats on your 3707 Ti it's a great piece.
For a manual, on the IWC website under customer service you can download one for a 3777. The movement, chronograph and date change functions are all the same. IWC Boutique can supply you with links and the sizing pins which look like this

Thanks to you both! A helpful forum is a rare thing these days. I will certainly post pictures when the watch arrives. I purchased it from Chronomaster.com.

I'm thinking of having it sent in for a SPA treatment and also for a certificate of authenticity.

I live in the Houston area and see that there are three retailers, but no boutiques. Can I get the same service through a retailer.

Does anyone have an opinion or experience on the three retailers in Houston?
    - Ben Bridge
    - Tourneau
    - Zadok Jewelers

All three are well known Authorized Dealers and can handle submission to the IWC Service Center (in Ft. Worth by the way, though the work may require return to Schaffhausen). I don't know if any will feel differently on watches not purchased from them, but since it is out-of-warranty period it may not matter to them. I'm sure they will advise you.

You may want to wait until you actually see the watch before you decide whether service is warranted. IWC Service is not inexpensive, but it is high quality. IWC will provide you an estimate for approval prior to actually performing any service.

    Howdy,
I live in the Austin area but have used Ben Bridge in Houston on a previous occasion. I found them to be very customer friendly and helpful. I no longer even have an Authorized Dealer in Austin. That necessitates a trip to Houston or Dallas to peruse IWC's or arrange service.

I've owned and loved it for several weeks now. It appears to be running about 10 seconds slow each day. Shouldn't it do better than that? If so, is it time for a spa day?

Definitely due for a service. Should have a better rate than that. It should be in the region of 0 to +6 per day.

Clean Oil Regulate or COR is called for, not necessarily a Spa.

    THANK YOU!!!

I've been looking for this manual for years.

Does anyone know the years in which this model was manufactured?
I purchased mine used in 2004. I just sent it in for a full service, and was curious how long it had been.

I know the manual is dated 1997.

    Regards,
