    Hallo everybody,

I recently fulfilled my dream: I am a happy owner of a Portuguese 5441 SS in almost new condition!
The watch was in my personal wish list since many years... my watch passion started thanks to IWC in 1993 and it is still one of my favourite brands.

The watch is beautiful, but I miss the original wooden box and the documents...
    :-(

Anyone can suggest me how to get one?
I suppose an original box is quite impossible to find, but maybe there is a similar one still in production in Schaffhausen?

    Have a nice weekend!

Hi, fantastic watch!!! An IWC wooden box you can find on the well known auction sites I'd expect!? The problem is that the 5441, as a limitied edition, has the small metal plate with the limited edition number engraved on it, inside the box. That you'll never find I guess.
Actually, the first 100 Jubilee's were all sold in sets (!) of rose-platinum-steel, in yet another very special box which fits the 3 watches. So if your watch has a number <100 that's a good reason why you don't have the box ;-)

Finally, I own a Portuguese Automatic ref. 5001 which also came in a wooden box those days. I notice that the white lining start detereoting... so pay extra attention to the condition of the box if you ever find one!

    Good luck,

    Bob
