Just received a watch for my birthday this morning and I am speechless! I'm wearing it at work now and can't stop smiling! Looking forward to finishing the day so I can go home and take loads of photo's and load them up to this forum to share my delight!!

I'm really struggling to concentrate here at work!!

    Any guesses?

    Happy Birthday!!!!

It must have really been special to get a new IWC watch! I would guess the 5001 (maybe a 5004). The 5001 would make a great b'day watch:

Happy birthday and congratulations! Any IWC you get if a great IWC but a 5001 or 5004/5009 would be magnificent!

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

    PS: what about a 5023, 5032, 5044, 5447, 5449 or 5454?

Congratulations - and I can certainly understand why you have a hard time at concentrating at work (for at least a couple of days!)

Fantastic timepiece joining what is already a strong / handsome collection of IWC's there.

Wear it in good health - and here's looking towards your next birthday reveal!

Can't argue with that. One of the best in my opinion.
Question...why did you change the strap?

Happy birthday, and who is a happy bunny with such a present as that. Also appreciate the rest of the family as well. Got a landmark birthday coming up? Portuguese perpetual would be most welcome I suspect!

That is some birthday present. Almost makes me wish for another birthday this year, but never mind that's another story.
Once again Happy Birthday and enjoy your DFB.
Why did you change the strap??

Thanks for all the nice comments. I'm still throughly enjoying wearing the watch.

Regarding the strap - When the watch first came out my wife and I both agreed that the pilot strap would also look great. She remembered that discussion and now I have both but I'll only be using the original DFB strap as a spare.

Here's my pride and joy again!

Fantastic birthday present. It's a pity that birthdays are only once a year. I wouldn't mind to be twice as old and have twice the watch collection ;-)

The BP DFB is an excellent choice.
