    Hi All,

New to the forum and I have a technical question. I've owned 7750 based
movements before and I've had two with the same issue. They both suffered from
the hour counter running continuously due to the use of a plastic hammer on
the hour counter wheel. The plastic wears over time and is prone to slipping
because of this and causing the continuous running issue. Does anyone know if
IWC upgrades to a better material that isn't prone to wear?

What you describe is not an issue as IWC heavily modified 7750 movements to be
    in line with IWC standards.

After some time, ETA Stopped sending ebauches to Schaffhausen, and built 7750
movements to IWC requirements and specifications.

Right now, IWC has created its own new chronograph movement
