I recently purchased an IWC 8-Day Big Date Portofino (Ref 5161) from the IWC Boutique in Paris, France. After about a month of wear, the watch is now running over 6 minutes fast per week. In addition to this problem, the 8-Day power reserve continues to fall short lasting only 7 days - when fully wound. Any suggestions to fix this problem before having to send the product overseas for service (so soon)? Reading about the 59000 calibre-family, I am surprised and equally disappointed with the inaccuracy from such a masterpiece of a movement.
