As per my earlier post I recently purchased 6 IWC watches in 14 days (and since then I have purchased another one, an IWC Chronometer 3521, but that is another story) and another 2 of them arrived today. Before I show you photos I want to tell you how I came to buy these two watches. They were being auction by a German auction house where the only description was
"PORSCHE DESIGN/IWC mixed lot 2-pieces, gentlemen- and ladies watch IWC, and Porsche design , both in original packing, working" and the only photo was this one

The minimum opening bid on these watches was less than 1,000 euro, so I put in a bid at the minimum price (thinking that I wouldn't win them and even if I did then for that price I would take them anyway, even not knowing what they were). I didn't think anymore about the watches until about 3 weeks later when I received an email telling me that I was the highest bidder (in fact I was the only bidder). So imagine my very pleasant surprise today when I received the watches in the mail and opened them up to find this.

A beautiful IWC Ocean 2000 in excellent condition and including the extra Velcro strap (unfortunately the tools and original paper work are missing, but hey I can't complain too much)

and the other watch was a nice ladies titianum watch (I think this is quartz) if anyone can tell me anything about it, it would be appreciated.

Congratulations, that's a great catch! I really like the story too.

Enjoy the watches and wear them (or at least one) in good health.

    Kind regards,

    Clemens

You got a 2000 for less than 1000? Congrats! What a terrific find.
