    Hi everyone,
    I have a IWC Aquatimer Chronograph Cousteau Divers watch and much to my surprise its actually the first one out of the 2500.
    Very happy....

    That may mean 1 out of 2500. This style of numbering of limited edition models seems to be current much to most forumers annoyance. Previously it was sequential numbering. I do not have the model nor seen it in the metal.

    Very beautiful watch: congratulations, and enjoy! As for the numbering: all show "one out of 2500". By doing so you don't need a logistical and technical provision for the individual numbering, and you don't have to face the problem that people like certain digits and, more importantly, dislike certain other digits. It seems that in East-Asia the 8 is particularly liked, and the 4 is disliked.
