Hello there. I'm a recently fan of the IWC timepieces and i have a question about a particular watch that i just saw yesterday and i'm very interested in it, but i'm not sure its genuine because of the colors combination it has.

I don't have a photo of the watch but i'm attaching this picture- www.passions.com.sg/v2/files/imagecache/watermark/files/3793-IWC.jpg

The watch i saw looks exactly the same way (rose gold, ardoise dial with white fixings (not sure its right to say fixings, but u'll understand :) ) but its 100% not the Jackie Chan limited edition.

Is it possible to be genuine in this combination of colors/materials when its not the Jackie Chan LE, because i don't find it like that on the web, or maybe i just saw a high class replica?

The guy i saw who was wearing it is a serious man i know from a while, and i don't believe he could wear a rep (of course he said its genuine, it was moving like a one with a high beat movement etc.), but who knows, i'm leaving the sentence to the experts :)

    Thank you!

    Hi Kris
It's impossible for us to comment on the authenticity of a watch if you do not include a picture of the actual article under consideration. There's not enough information. As you say yourself - Who Knows?

Hello. Thank you for the quick answer. :) I agree that it cannot be said if the watch i saw was genuine or not without photos.

But i've opened the discussion because i couldn't find it on the catalogues/pictures etc. on the web and i was wondering if there ever was an IWC Portuguese Chronograph manufactured looking like this www.passions.com.sg/v2/files/imagecache/watermark/files/3793-IWC.jpg on the front side, but not being the Jackie Chan LE.

What do you say? Possible? :)

It's possble. It certainly looks real and there have been numerous limited editions here. For one list, please see www.gregsteer.net/IWC/Portuguese_LE/Portuguese_LE.htm
