    Hi everyone,

New member here! I was wondering about the authenticity of [this piece right here](http://imgur.com/a/oWfrb). It's a little hard to find information about non-Ingenieur cal. 852's.

Looking at the['57 catalogue](http://www.iwcforum.com/Catalogs/1957/start.html) it's hard to find the exact one, but the dial and the hands seem to look good? I'm more worried about the case shape and the two longer indices above the 12 though.

Although there's not an exact watch in the '57 catalogue, is it safe to assume that this watch configuration is real? Or is this considered a franken?

Thank you in advance, and I'll be looking forward to anyone's input.

The dial and hands are likely correct. The crown is a newer replacement, and the case is suspect.

You will need to provide photos of the inside of the case back and movement in order for anyone to make a fine judgment.

    Regards,
