I just received an IWC Calibre 89 and have a couple of questions on it.
I was under the impression that the movement has a hacking function, this one
does not.
The dial looks good, maybe a little "too good" for being a 1960s serial #.
Can you please opine on this as well?
Also, I have noticed that on the back of the lugs of these flared models,
there is usually a ridge on the top right and bottom left lugs, as pictured in
the two sold by Hodinkee. I understand that IWC did produce many a variant on
the Calibre 89 so perhaps there are different versions of the flared lugs.
Photos provided are from the seller but are pretty spot on. I will take some
of
