    Good afternoon ,

I hope if someone can kindly enligthened me.

I'm considering to purchase this IWC mark X. Browsing for hours, Im struggling to decide if it is a Genuine piece of not. From the movement , case , crown, everything seems fine and I'm inclined, it is genuine but struggling to decide about the dial. Appreciate if someone can shed some light please. Attached few pictures of the watch.

    Many thanks in advance.

The only certainty from the photos shown and from the movement number,  is it’s a calibre 83, dating from the year 1944.

    Is the dust cover present?

What is the Case Number from the inside of the caseback?

I question Tritium dial for 1944 wristwatch!
    The hands too......

    Hello Mark,

    Thanks for the response.

the case number from the inside of the case is same as outside. Have attached the photo of it. With regards to the dust cover, there isnt any and I didnt think Mark X C83 came with the dust covers... ?
you're right,  the dial was a little question able for me too, could it be the Nato dial which I have read else where were used to replace the original dials as the original radium ones werent seem suitable on the health grounds...

    Kind Regards
