    hi

this is my first time on this forum.

The IWC Mark XV is my grail watch. I am hoping to buy one over the next year or so. I have a couple of queries:-

    - I would prefer one that has anti reflective coating, how do I ensure that i get one with that ?
     - Can one buy an IWC OEM strap for a Mark XV ? what about a deployant buckle ?

    Any assistance is greatly appreciated

    Many thanks
    Brendan

My Mark XV had Luminova and not tritium lume (and therefore only “Swiss Made” on the dial) and it did not have AR coating as it was produced in an earlier production run.  Thus, I don’t think that a post-tritium piece will necessarily have AR.   You can, hiwever, fairly easily recognize the AR models given the blue hue of the crystal.   IWC will replace the crystal with one that has AR coating as an optional intervention during a service if you request it.  As for OEM straps and buckles, yes, you can buy new.  Just contact the IWC Concierge or an AD.

    Hello.
First forum message..I am about to receive a 2006 mark xv on a stainless steel bracelet.
My question is,   it has never had a service. I am not sure if the accuracy but should I swallow the cost and get a proper Iwc full service done? How much would I pay?

Nice purchase for a first IWC Pilot(!)
Sold all my Fliegers (over the past years) to replace them with Aquatimers (..)
only one Pilot Mark XV left, and it is NOT on the wall anymore.
( but would trade it anyday for a AT wallclock (!) ANYONE ?)
    cheers

    Hi guys,
I have a beautiful Mark XV but don't have any original papers. Is it possible to find out production year based e.g. on the serial number (which for my clock starts with 283XXXX).
    Thanks,
    Asle
