I am very new to the world of IWC. I am especially attracted to the pilot version which is one mighty timepiece. I have been looking for one for a while.
I was wondering if I could have an opinion on the following watch that going up for sale at a local auction. I dont mind the restoring part as it seems that parts a readily available I would like to know if it is genuine, worth purchasing and expected restoration costs.

To me it looks very faky. I'm not a vintage expert but I've never seen a model like that.
I haven some problems with the case and the crown..
do not thrust it to be genuine (..) Did you open it(?) and if so show pics .
perhaps that showes if it is IWC insite.

It looks as if somebody has tried to clone a WWW (Mark X) and a Mark 11 plus some other bits. I would stay well clear of that offer.
