    Hello everyone,

I am just about to receive my new pilot chrono IW377709 (super excited as I have wanted one for ages) and want to know about strap options. I am only interested in the genuine IWC straps and more specifically the Kevlar (nylon) strap which comes with the top gun- will it fit the pilot chrono and does it come standard with a deployment? Another option would be to get the leather strap on deployment buckle however not sure if it will fit? I can only afford one option so any opinions would be very welcome!

On a seperate note will an AD be willing to swop the standard pilot chrono strap to reduce the price of the Kevlar / leather deployment?

Apologies in advance as I'm sure this question has been asked a hundred times however I am not able to find most of the threads.

    Thank you!

    Greetings ADM,

What I can share with you is my experiences with the AD's in the Western U.S.A.

They have been very open to being extremely creative regarding customizing strap/buckle options. The approach that I think is the best is to negotiate throwing in an "extra" strap to seal the deal. This will allow you to have another look to freshen things up. Swapping out regular Tang buckle straps for deployant specific straps also can be a negotiated item. Price adjusting a deployant clasp for a Pin buckle is yet another discussion that can close the sale. Bottom line....work out the looks you want and all price adjustments before committing to buy. Without you, the watch remains in the showcase.

Let us know the end results and most of all, enjoy your new Pilot Chrono !
