    Hi!

I have bought an IWC Portofino IW356502. The daily delay is at -7 or -8 seconds per day? Ist it normal?
For example my Rolex Submariner has -1 and my cheap Seiko -2.

If it is a new watch give it some wrist time and allow it to settle. If it was pre-owned, check the service history and get it regulated by IWC.

It is a pre-owned watch and it was twice regualted this year by IWC, still having this problem.

0 to +7 secs per day is the specified norm.

    Should I use the warranty?

So after three days it's 23 seconds fast which is just outside spec. Like all things mechanical how and what you do with it will alter the result and likewise the position of the watch. Overall I would live with that and it wouldn't give me sleepless nights.

You started at -7, how did you get there? Or was it -7 when you set the time? You gained time consistently in 2 days. If you gain an average of more than 10/day I would get it regulated.. keep a time chart over a month which also indicates usage.

There is a terrific app for smartphones that is great for tracking the rate of your watch. It is called WatchCheck and I highly recommend it!
