    Hi,

I very recently received the aforementioned watch as a gift and have a question regarding the date adjustment. I was in the process of setting the date when I actually went one number ahead by mistake.

According to the manual, pulling out the crown in to the (1) position should allow me to only set the date. However, for the life of me I cannot get the crown into such a position. Either it is in (0), which lets me wind the watch, or it is in (2) and I am changing the dials.

I have tried putting the crown in (0) and turning it anti-clockwise but to no avail.

Any tips on "finding" the (1) position? Is there any alternative to simply having to tediously turn the dials forward until the date is correct again?

    Thank you.

You just have to try in a careful way: pull the crown carefully and you will experience two clicks. The first is position 1, the second position 2. Choosing position 1 may be tricky, rather subtle. When in position 1 you turn the crown either clockwise or counter-clockwise, I'm not sure, I have no look-alike here at my holiday place. But it is easy: if you turn one way and nothing happens, you must turn the other way: the date starts clicking to the next one, in ascending order. After a maximum of 31 clicks you reach the right date. Best is to go until the date before the actual date, and go to position 2 to set the last one: then you are sure that the time is at the right AM or PM segment. There is no way to set the date backwards.

    Hope this helps!

    Kind regards,
    Paul

Thank you for your response, Paul. Unfortunately I still can't find it! Guess I'll have to look into getting it serviced.

    Thanks again.
