Yeah. The SBTG/Sabotage Strap would have been a hoot for the 5022...but, I
did actually F- it up with getting a "curved spring bar strap" when I should
have got just a standard straight spring bar strap like the Watch came with.
As you can see in the photo, the strap "works" but there is too much space
between the strap and case because of the curve - I guess the spring bar holes
on the lugs of newer watches are further up the lugs toward the case...
Many many years ago, in the early days of my body and vehicle construction
career, I was actively involved as a young journeyman in the car body
restoration of the 300 SL with the prominent first owner Jyl Brynner.
