Can someone confirm if the Jude Law character in the movie "Repo Men" was wearing an Aquatimer?
I couldn't concentrate since I'm somewhat squeamish at the sight of blood, and RM is so full of violent scenes :-/

IWC sighting in "Repo Men"?
Yup, Jude Law's character is wearing what appears to be a 3548 on OEM rubber. I say "appears to be" because it could be a Cousteau LE, but I couldn't tell for sure thanks to the lighting in the shot. It's definitely stainless steel, though.

Is it likely to be a product placement?
IWC sighting in "Repo Men"?
Who can say? I suppose it depends on just how much "face time" the watch gets. From the still that I was able to freeze in the online trailer, it was pretty easy to spot (and yes, it's a 3548, not a Cousteau), but if that's the only time it shows up, well then perhaps it's Jude Law's personal watch, or was provided by a WIS-inclined propmaster.

IWC sighting in "Repo Men"?
Thank you so much, I was almost about to consider the possibility that I was wrong :-)
Somehow, I doubt that it was a case of product placement - or a "hidden commercial" as I would refer to it. but the exclusivity of the IWC brand makes me very skeptical of the chance that the company would resort to that choice.
On the other hand, I'm open to the idea that IWCs happen to be Mr. Law choice for quality timepiece. Maybe I should watch more of his movies to find out :-)
