Hi I Recently bought an IWC Spitfire Chronograph and was wondering if it was
ok to run the chrihograph all the time? Or is it better not to run it all the
    time?

    thanks in advance.

Running a chronograph all the time will result in a minuscule drop in
amplitude so if you run it all the time for say a week, it will affect the
    timekeeping slightly.

That said, some chronographs have a 12 Hour register, so it is expected to run
    for 12 hours continuously.

Let it run for the day if you would like to see the seconds hand run, but stop
and reset it at night for the best compromise.

In short, running the Chrono continuesly will do no harm.....But, will shorten
    the time required between services.
