Well, in the last couple of years I have, I like to think, made a solid contribution to IWC's profits. Hence, I also like to think I own a small part of the new building! Excellent. :-)

    Cheers,

I like it. It carries a strong Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe feel to it.

As architects, we have always striven to achieve the best practice in all aspects of our work, particularly sustainability, as a major focus in delivering a responsible design endeavour to our clients and end-users.

This project not only strengthen IWC as an ambassador to the spirit of the people in Schaffhausen along with the art of watch-making, but also as an ambassador in promoting excellence in sustainable architecture and the built environment.

It is also the right thing to do when creating the best possible working environment for staffs. The best investment a company can do to ensure the best output is investing in its people and its environment.

Whilst product placement and the many marketing strategies employed by IWC are great efforts in promoting the brand , I personally find company development news such as these reaffirms my trust in IWC in creating great watches and demonstrating its capability to continue its development in horological excellence.

I think this is very good news.

Shows optimism and a long term brand and corporate ambition. It is committing to Schaffhausen which I think is essential to not lose track of history and brand recognition.

A vast majority of the Schaffhausen residents entitled to vote supported this project and the grand opening in October 2016 will be the reward for an excellent relationship.
We are very proud, well done IWC.

    Hi Jarrod, all fine here.
If I remember right, you've picked up the heavy metal for your ME this day last year, so what will it be in October 2016 ???
Looking forward to seeing you again!
