Hello Everybody,
First of all, I introduce myself. I'm a 29 years old guy with the passion for
vintage watches.
Here, I would like to show you my first IWC and ask some questions.
As you can see, It is an Only-Time IWC with Breguet Numerals and Guilloche
dial (It seems to be a Sector Dial). The case Is width 33mm.
First question:
1- Do you think it Is a restored Dial?
The calibre has a peculiarity: the time is setted throught a Pin-set mechanism
The Watch seems to be powered by a Calibre 63.
Another question for IWC Experts:
2- Am I right? Is It a Calibre 63 or it is another calibre?
Then:
3- According to the Serial Number (2743xx), the calibre seems to be produced
in the Early 1900s while, on the other hand, according to the Serial Number on
the case back (1066xxx), the watch seems to be produced in the 1940s. Why did
It happen? Is It right, or it might a Marriage Watch?
Then, the Last and most important question:
4- Do you like It? ☺️
This Is my First IWC watch and, honestly, on the wrist is beautiful,
especially with a shirt and a jacket.
I hope you enjoyed the description and the pictures (and that someone can
answer to my questions).
Thanks for reading and have a nice day!
Christian
