IWC Top Gun 3799-01 day of week stuck, help?

Hey guys,
I was hoping someone may give me some advice here.
I bought a Top Gun 3799-01 about a year ago. It's been perfect, but recently I was changing the time, day, date and accidentally did not cycle the day completely. I actually saw that I did not cycle it from one day to the other and it was in between, but was planning to then run the time past 12 to cycle to the next day and assumed it would flip itself to the next day. Well i was wrong. When i went past 12 the day did not flip with the date and now i cannot adjust the day at all, it's just stuck there.

Is there a simple fix for this or does it need to be sent into IWC for a movement repair?

Watchmaker is the magic word here. Probably it's not the biggest deal. Good luck.

Authorised service centre as parts are not sold to independent watch makers. Never adjust your watch in between hours of 8pm and 2am if you want to adjust calendar details.

Just to be clear for others reading this with the same problem, the issue i ran into was not adjusting the calendar details between 8pm-2am. It was not fully letting the day switch over to the next day. Basically I was changing the day and wound it a bit too far to the point where it went slightly past the day i wanted. Rather than continue winding it to complete the next day change, i left it halfway in the middle assuming it would click over on the next 24hr winding of time past midnight.

With that said maybe that is part of the typical 8pm-2am problem? Maybe effectively the watch was treating the day as still being adjusted since it never finsihed its full rotation and since i did adjust through that 8pm-2am range it caused the problem?
