Thank you Tonny - we can upload our own images but is there a way to recover the photos originally posted here by IWCUTC to start this thread? I am no longer able to view the original poster's images either.
Jamiedelko - And thank you for your photos and welcome to the forum! That is a beauty and I love it on the bracelet. I see that this watch does not say automatic on the dial. Also, Jens-Kristian's watch does not have Schaffhausen on it. Hadn't noticed these details before.

First, thank you so much Ben and Tonny for your assistance on this matter.
Tonny, I believe Ben hits the nail on the head . Perhaps this additional information may help. If I'm reading the comments correct, Ben was able to see IWCUTC's photos when it was first posted. Now he cannot ( I'm assuming Ben only sees small squares in place of the pic's) . I on the other hand have never been able to see the photo's, just small squares. Also, I am working from a iPad due to where I am temporary located and do not have access to a PC . My hope is that you will be successful in recovering the photo's and convert them for reposting so that they will be visible from a mobile device.
Thanks again Guys for taking time to address this. Fingers crossed that there is good news and views coming.....

Hey Jeff,
No problem in viewing that stunning pic. Agree the " Classic" is beautiful. I like to think of it as the little brother to one of the best BP's ever priduced during those production years. The font on the BP and UTC Classic were just perfect IMO. Your Spitfire version was also so very well done. They had a distinct look to them. Just Beautiful ! Looks great on Bracelet or the OEM Honey-Tan strap. Thanks for the example of a UTC window aperture located in the bottom half of the dial. It appears to be in fantastic shape.

i have one coming to me tomorrow!
It's a full kit box and papers NOS Spitfire with the 6:00 UTC aperture. I've been looking for this watch for years!
