do you know if IWC has a service (paid or free) that can give you, like some
other Swiss manufacturers so, information on origin, date it was sold, where
on vintage IWCs '
I have 2 IWC vintage (1949 and 1966) and about to acquire an other one, I
would like to have some info from IWC ?

thanks for the reply, that' s very kind of you.
I am about to purchase an IWC, lovely cal 402, that I believe is from 1966, on
the caliber the serial number is 1806163 unlike the other 2 I have, there is
no case serial number, it is an original IWC case and IWC case back, the
reference number on the inside of the case back is "3311".
From the web info should be a 1966 but I just wanted to double check, it has a
very nice roman numerals dual tone dial.
