This is my first watch with an BETA 21 quartz movement. Used by many other brands too, but I wanted a IWC with this fascinating movement.

It makes noises like a small motor and the seconds hand is rotating constantly, not in seconds steps. A nice dial in perfect condition and with 36 mm not to small.

Sure, not everyones taste, but maybe some of you like it too.

    Regards

    Heiko

    I like it

I like the shape, as it shows that the old Da Vinci was not the only watch with this kind of shape, and thus that the VC Da Vinci has more than one root, from the point of view of shape. Like the indexes and the hands. I presume that, because the dial is white, there are no problems with readability.

    Kind regards,
    Paul, wearing Saint Exupéry Chrono

Here is a similar watch with .......

a Bulova Accotron movement which I think predated the Beta 21 movement.

    Nice watch

It's the first time I've seen one of those on a bracelet.

    Nice hebe! >>>

Your description sounds like my Cal. 160-13. Which is going to the spa shortly, for some restoration and R & R,

    Thanks for sharing these "oldtimers"

It is always a pleasure to see your photos of the icons of the recent past, Heiko
