The IWC Aquatimer I bought was delivered with a missing index! A
few days after that Richemont repaired this, the Quick-System bracelet
broke , causing the watch to fall off during normal hand movements.
They also fixed this defect and I got the watch back with a "repaired" strap.
Unfortunately, the repair has not changed anything at all and a few weeks
later, the bracelet fell from the watch case with normal hand movements. After
this was repaired for the second time, the same thing happened a third time.
In the third repair of the bracelet click system , Richemont sent me
back the watch in a dirty condition (white residue on the bracelet). In
addition, the customer service repeatedly made the allegation that I
would not use the watch adequately. This is probably due to the circumstance
that Richemont 's customer service was not informed about the misconceived
bracelet click system as this problem is well documented internationally (see
google "IWC Aquatimer strap bracelet system"), reflecting a lack of
communication between production and customer service. I am incredibly
disappointed by IWC and Richemont and will never again buy an IWC or a
watch belonging to the Richemont Group.
