hello everyone i am about to purchase my first vintage IWC which after many
years yearing for one, the time has come :) the one i have in mind has a nice
blue dieal except for one issue,
i dont mind age related wear but am keen not to buy a refinished watch.
could i ask for advice on this please. the issue is the date window, to my
mind it looks repainted ?

the date ring on the blue dialed yacht clubs is kind of "greyisch" on all
yacht clubs.

Yes I've seen many grey date wheels on the blue dial esp the non lune version.
My query was really the silver edge around the date window.
