    Dear Sirs,
I have been a "lurker" for some time on this great forum. Loads of good information for a collector.
I have recently acquired a cal 89 HW Yacht Club ref 2611.
From the information I can find, these are relatively rare.
I am interested if anyone can shed some light on the T Swiss T marking on the dial. Is it legit? Most I have seen only have - Swiss - on the dial.

    Kind regards!

Hello Northbound and welcome. I believe you may have an original dial with tritium lume. Dials are replaced with newer non-tritium versions during service and they do not have the "T". The original dial is more desirable and yours appears to be in good condition. If you do have it serviced, you may want to make sure that the dial is not replaced. That is a great find - congratulations!

    Looks legit to me.
T SWISS T will indicate that the lume used for the dial and maybe hands is Tritium.
Radium was replaced by Tritium which in turn has been replaced with SuperLuminova.

    Thank you Gents!
I appreciate your comments. As a collector I always value originality and will never accept that to be degraded if a component is not damaged badly.
To me the dial is much the soul of the watch. I do not mind (nice) patina, but I dread non-originality.
The watch is on its way for a check up, oil and clean by my vintage specialist watchmaker. It has been sitting in a collection for years before I recently was able to purchase it so it will surely need some TLC.
    Again, thanks a lot!
    :-)
