Joining the IWC community :)

Hello forum members.

Having waited 5 months for the build to be completed, I finally collected my BP LPP in Red Gold yesterday from the IFC Boutique in Hong Kong.

It has been a long wait, but very worth it! I have number 224/250 which represents my birthday (22nd April). I had originally requested 217/250 as this is my son's, as he is to take ownership of this timepiece in a couple of decades. Unfortunately, due to a communication error between Hong Kong and Schaffhausen, I lost #217.

To top it off and make it that bit more special for the young fella, I procured a first edition, first print of "The Little Prince".

As with many I'm sure, I can't take it off my wrist, nor can I stop looking at it! I've been running into stationary objects for the last 24 hours....the bruises are mounting :)

I look forward to my next IWC.

Congrats!! You have acquired a beautiful BP LPP. I tried one on at the Boutique in London and it took my breathe away. Enjoy it now and your son will enjoy it in the future and will in turn hand it down for future generations too.

Happy belated birthday! What a way to celebrate your birthday by receiving such a amazing gift. Not all IWC watches are individual numbered nowadays.....however I wish they are for limited pieces.

Anyway, enjoy your present and many more to come, surely!

I might be visiting HK soon, maybe we could gtg.

Congrats ! Most brands always seem to go over the top when they make a larger case golden watch.
IWC seems to know how to combine just enough bling with understatement.
It's a stunning piece !
