Good luck buddy. Like I mentioned in one of my posts, most Jubilee models are sold out in North America at the boutiques. Some authorized dealers have a piece here and there. I heard the Jubilees are slow in coming out because of the lacquering process for the dials, so if they have your order, just be patient and fingers crossed!

Just curious, I have the Jubilee BP blue dial on order since early January and IWC confirms I am one of the lucky ones that made the 150 grade. I have seen pictures of the 150th BP in white dial but not in blue. Has anyone seen a blue dial yet in the BP? Wanted to know if they are being released yet. Just seems like been waiting for ever.
I have yet to see a blue dialed Jubilee Big Pilot Big Date in person in NYC. Seen plenty of pictures of people worldwide taking delivery, including as far as Asia to as close as Florida (there's one for auction on eBay at an inflated price). I've seen plenty of the Annual Calendars and only the one white dialed Big Date. Again, I heard that the process for lacquering the dial is slow but heard that final delivery of blue Big Dates should be expected within the next couple of months. I think the 8 day handwound Jubilee Portugieser hasn't even hit the market yet with expected delivery time of end of November.

Well, I spoke too soon and I got a call from the Madison Avenue Flagship boutique today that the 8 Day Hand-wound Jubilee Portugeiser were just delivered!!! Very pleasant surprised. Tried on both the steel and rose gold models. The dial is a very stark white, but the contrast in the sub-dial is noticible, it's almost a cream color. Also tried on some Jubilee Portugeiser Chronographs but these were already spoken for.

Spoke the the sales rep in KL.. she was sure it will be here by october early pert of it.. just no dates. yet.
but i was told it has been shipped..i presume its taking a train ride from Switzerland to one of the airports and then getting it self fedex over to singapore and another plane ride to KL.. all going thur customs and inspections..

Unfortunately, the chronos were already spoken for. They both wear great on the wrist in either dial color so I would have been happy with either, but it wasn't meant to be. Will probably add the steel Portugeiser to my collection as it's really nice and I like the contrast.

Pretty happy with this... Finally got to pick it up and i maintain the inital observation that the dial is stuningyl boring.. but it certainly a pice that you will want!
my only disapointement with this was.. no goodies from IWC. not even a pouch. or a bookmark... all i had as catalogues (i did say i didnt want them and it was still in the bag) and a paper bag..
in short.. love the watch.. hate the service maybe its the locating.. any other IWC boutiques that has excellent service? i probably would not pick it up from the KL site the next time... ( and like all other IWC owners, there certainly will be a next time).

So glad you like the piece and the caseback and 8 day movement is pretty awesome. I'm still deciding if I want to add this to my Jubilee collection as I wait on my first BP. Sorry to hear there was a lack of service at the KL boutique for you. I think it's a bit of a hit or miss depending on what's in stock so far as giveaways, your relationship with your salesperson (which if I recall, left the boutique recently) etc. I hope they at least offered an additional strap option as I've always been given that bit of an extra at each boutique purchase.
