    the 23rd century IWC provides a Replacement Slide Bearing, picture attached.

    Good to see...

    That those who will inherit this watch can use it for a long, long time!

    Does anybody here ever think about the future of your watches and if and how you will be remembered because of them?

    I actually have thought about this...

    I left instructions for my wife and or kids in with my Will on who to contact with respect to my watch collection. I would hope that one of my sons will have developed an interest in horology to some extent in order to pass the collection on down the line. But, if not, to at least contact someone I trust (are you reading this MF?) to help him figure it out.

    great looking watch...

    punchy and masculine looking. i like the busy face.
    keep it wound up though or you'll be here until the next century resetting it!

    wonderful watch

    and although I am pretty young I have noted down some instructions for my girlfriend to follow - which incudes contacting two forum members for some support/guidance on the watch-front......

    This is a beautiful time piece. Fantastic and I am sure if you look after it - it will be around for many generations.
