    ?

I see many great watches on this forum and recent study found here that we own more then 8 watches.

But... if you go out: what watch is most on your wrist?

Looking forward to see your choice.

    Greetings, Martijn

This one is almost always on my right wrist, so it gets by far the most wrist time.

    Kind regards,

Not that easy to answer, as I rotate a bit

I guess the honours are split, about twice a week:
    - steel VC Portuguese, when i want it a bit subdued,
    - steel VC Pilot's watch, when I want it a bit stronger.

Then, two other watches I wear about once a week:
    - rose gold VC Portuguese,
    - yellow gold Portuguese Perpetual Calendar.

And when I like some variety, almost perverse after the list above:
    - rose gold Saint Exupéry Chrono,
    - titanium Ingenieur Automatic, if I expect a bit of a work out.

The other three IWC's I don't wear, but I cannot part from them either.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing yellow gold Portuguese Perpetual Calendar

The beauty of IWC. A watch for every occasion...

This is one reason I own a number of IWCs. There is one that fits every mood. The DaVinci Vintage is getting a lot of wrist time recently, but the GST perpetual dominates at the office. The Big Pilot is for casual times and the Ceramic Doppel is for a more sporty look. The 3714 has almost become a dress watch. The Spitfire Doppel looks good anytime. Goodness, i'm having an identity crisis! Thankfully there is an IWC to go with each of my moods.

    Aloha all!

BPP - No doubt about it even though I have trouble reading the date.

I rotate them, but if I had to pick the one ...

I wear the most it would be the BPP. Although the AT has been catching up.

    It changes monthly . . .

. . .most of the time I'm wearing different watches which I change monthly. That's a good period to make sure that the watch shows a "real" behaviour.
There are four watches I wear the most:
    the engineer
    the Fliegerchrono
my first IWC: the PD Titan Chrono
the Original Portugieser "Missing Link" (build around 1979/80)

Just now I am wearing a NOMOS Tangente

Nice idea: equalizing bucks per hour

I know of your post at the German forum, you must always find some way to justify an expensive watch. I feel a bit guilty, but not for long, that the most wrist time is taken by the lesser expensive watches, and not because I fear for the more expensive ones. But by rotating this works just fine for me, and I never regret wearing any of my watches. I only regret that I cannot wear more watches at the same time, as I am not Mr. Hayek.

    Kind regards,
Paul, wearing rose gold VC Portuguese

Hard to believe: my Regulateur Tourbillon

I wear this watch 80% of the time --most workdays, but not weekends. I just love it, and watches are meant to be worn.

I rotate all the time, but in general....

...the classier watches get more wrist time during the week (wearing a suit), and sportier a bit more during the weekend.

Love the Regulateur in SS. I think it is the nicest Portugieser of ALL for normal wear.

    Good question Martijn :-)

Michael, I do not find it hard to believe at all.

I am sad the Regualeur is being dropped from the Portugieser offerings. It is totally pocket watch on the wrist and really deserves to be a Portugieser stable.

    Keep enjoy!
