"JWC" Peerless movement.

My first post here. I'm currently sorting and identifying a large number of unsold watches, movements and parts accumulated by a friend over the last 30 years. Although I'm a modest collector I have never owned an IWC, sadly, but I am now close in that I have a movement - old, damaged as it is - which is quite interesting and may help someone somewhere with a restoration project. Here it is, serial number 131298. I'd appreciate any information about the movement as, despite an extensive search, I'm unable to identify it.
